By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Delivery Areas

We deliver to selected areas within the United Kingdom.
Our delivery zones may vary depending on product availability, courier schedules, and seasonal demand.
Delivery availability will be confirmed at the time of ordering.

If your postcode is outside our standard delivery area, please contact us — we may still be able to accommodate special arrangements.

3. Minimum Order Value

A minimum order of £100 applies to all deliveries.

4. Delivery Schedule

  • Deliveries typically take place on scheduled days depending on your location.

  • We will confirm your delivery date before dispatch.

  • Pre-order items will be delivered on the date agreed at the time of ordering.

Please note that delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, supply fluctuations, or factors beyond our control.

5. Delivery Requirements

Because we supply perishable seafood, it is essential that:

  • Someone is present to receive and sign for the order, OR

  • You provide clear instructions for a safe place (driver discretion).

If no one is available and no safe place is provided:

  • Your order may be returned to us, and

  • Re-delivery charges may apply.

Once delivery is completed, responsibility for the goods transfers to the customer.

6. Temperature Control & Packaging

We take food safety seriously. All products are delivered using appropriate temperature-controlled packaging or vehicles, ensuring they remain within safe handling temperatures.

Customers are responsible for immediately refrigerating or freezing products upon delivery.

7. Delivery Charges

Delivery fees may vary depending on:

  • Location

  • Order size

  • Special delivery requirements

Shipping charges (if applicable) will be clearly communicated before order confirmation.

8. Failed or Missed Deliveries

A delivery is considered failed if:

  • No one is available at the delivery address, and

  • No safe place instructions were provided or suitable.

In such cases:

  • Re-delivery fees may be charged, and

  • EM Supplies Direct is not responsible for product quality deterioration due to missed delivery.

9. Delivery Delays

While we aim to deliver orders on time, delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic or weather conditions

  • Supplier availability

  • Seasonal demand

  • Courier delays

  • Events outside our control

We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible of any delays.

EM Supplies Direct is not liable for losses resulting from delivery delays.

10. Shipping Restrictions

We cannot ship to:

  • PO Boxes

  • International addresses

  • Locations where temperature-controlled delivery is not feasible

Certain remote postcodes may have limited delivery availability.

11. Risk & Responsibility

Risk transfers to the customer once delivery is completed, including if the order is left in a safe place at your request.

We are not responsible for:

  • Improper storage

  • Delays in refrigeration/freezing

  • Any deterioration occurring after delivery
